Overview: Kinsale Golf Club is a private 18-hole Gil Hanse and Jim Wagner design in Naples, near Wiggins Pass Road and Vanderbilt Drive. The club's published back-tee plan lists par 71 and 6,763 yards, with the site noting that actual yardage may change. The course occupies a flat Southwest Florida site shaped by imported sand, native vegetation and a preserved wetland area.
History: Kinsale was founded by Anthony Soave and opened in November 2024 after a new build on roughly 174 acres of undeveloped land. Hanse and Wagner designed the course as a modern interpretation of Golden Age architecture, drawing on the template-hole traditions associated with Charles Blair Macdonald and Seth Raynor. The club began with a deliberately limited membership and a golf-only focus.
Did You Know? Kinsale's published hole plan names several classic architectural templates, including a Redan, Eden, Biarritz, Lion's Mouth and Postage Stamp. Those names describe the design references built into the routing, not a claim that the holes copy any one historic course.
