Overview: Kings Point Executive Course is an 18-hole, par-60 layout in Delray Beach, associated with the Flanders Clubhouse. The current course page lists 3,900 yards and describes a precision-oriented design with water and bunkers on most holes. Its small, well-bunkered greens and 419 Bermuda fairways and rough make accuracy more important than simply maximizing driving distance.
History: Kings Point's executive course was designed by Robert Trent Jones Sr. and opened in 1973 as part of the Delray Beach community's golf facilities. A Kings Point publication records renovations to the two courses between 2006 and 2008, while the Executive Course's Champion Ultra-Dwarf Bermuda greens date from a 2014 renovation. The current course page also records a 2022 renovation, so the layout is described here through its current specification rather than its original condition.
Did You Know? The course uses a par-60 scorecard across 18 holes, making it a compact test of placement and short-game control. Water and strategically placed traps appear throughout the routing, so the course's challenge comes from managing landing areas as much as from the total yardage.
