Overview: The King's Course at King's Ridge Golf Club is an 18-hole, par-71 Lloyd Clifton design in Clermont. The club's current scorecard lists 6,269 yards, with the layout using Clermont's naturally rolling terrain, elevated tees, rolling fairways and undulating greens. It forms the full-length counterpart to the facility's shorter Ridge Course.
History: Current course records place the King's Course opening in 1997 and credit its design to Lloyd Clifton. The course was developed as part of the 36-hole King's Ridge facility, whose two layouts serve different kinds of rounds. The club continues to publish a dedicated King's Course scorecard, preserving the present par and yardage rather than relying on older records that list different tee configurations.
Did You Know? King's Ridge was built on naturally rolling Clermont ground rather than a flat coastal site. The combination of elevated tees, changing fairway contours and undulating greens gives the King's Course much of its visual character before a player reaches the putting surface.
