Overview: Kinds Golfklubb lies along the Assman river near Svenljunga, where water, woodland and open parkland shape a quiet but strategic round. The course has a natural southern Swedish character, with tree-lined holes giving way to broader views and water features that influence both club selection and safe recovery areas. At par 72, it offers a complete 18-hole test without feeling overbuilt. The setting is peaceful, but the design still asks for accurate placement and a good understanding of how the land moves around the greens.
History: Kinds Golfklubb was formed in 1987 and the course was designed by Jan Sederholm. The layout opened for play on 30 April 1990 and was formally inaugurated on 12 May 1990. Those two dates explain why course listings sometimes show a spring opening while the club’s own history gives a separate formal ceremony for the completed facility.
Did You Know? A nature inventory associated with Kinds recorded eleven nationally red-listed species in and around the course landscape. The finding underlines how closely the fairways sit within a wider living habitat.
