Overview: Kilkea Castle Golf Club is a spectacular championship parkland layout set on a grand historic estate in County Kildare. Situated in the shadows of one of Ireland's oldest inhabited castles, the layout is carved out of the lush fairways of the River Greese valley. Characterized by its significant water hazards and its immaculate resort conditioning, Kilkea Castle offers a peaceful and atmospheric round of world-class resort golf among massive stands of mature beech and oak timber.
Did You Know? The castle on site dates back to 1180 and was the ancestral seat of the Fitzgeralds, Earls of Kildare. Playing the course allows golfers to navigate land with over 800 years of history, and the signature holes that play directly under the castle towers provide some of the most serene and visually grand images in Irish resort golf.
