Overview: Kelso Golf Club offers a truly unique experience, as the 18-hole course is situated entirely within the perimeter of the historic Kelso Racecourse. Established in 1913, the layout is a flat but challenging parkland course that features wide-open fairways and large, tricky greens. The lack of trees on several holes is compensated by the prevailing winds and the strategic use of gorse, making it a "links-style" inland course that requires careful club selection and flight control.
Did You Know? Kelso is the only golf course in Scotland that is built inside a horse racing track. On race days, the course is closed to golfers, but the rest of the year it provides one of the most unusual settings for a round of golf anywhere in the country.
