Overview: Located in Vantaa, Finland, just north of Helsinki, the Saras Course at Keimola Golf is an 18-hole parkland and woodland layout. Winding through dense pine forests and open meadows, the course features wide fairways bordered by deep natural ravines, extensive water hazards, and large, subtly contoured greens. The course demands accurate ball placement off the tee to navigate the mature trees and strategic distance control.
History: Opened in the early 1990s as the primary championship venue at the 36-hole Keimola complex, the Saras course was built to establish a premier competitive venue in the Uusimaa region. The facility has hosted multiple Finnish national championships and is highly regarded for its excellent conditioning.
Did You Know? The course is built on the historic grounds of the former Keimola Motor Stadium, a famous Finnish racing circuit that hosted massive international motorsport events in the 1960s and 1970s before being transformed into the golf facility.
