Overview: Kaya Palazzo Golf Club is an 18-hole, par-72 parkland course in Belek, set within approximately 650,000 square metres of pine forest and resort landscape. David Jones and Golf Med Ltd shaped a technical course with tree-lined corridors, lakes and strategically placed bunkers beneath views of the Taurus Mountains. The directory lists approximately 6,500 yards. The layout's narrow landing areas make position important from the tee, while the water and changing tree lines create a steady sequence of different approaches rather than one repeated resort-golf problem.
History: The course opened in 2007 and became the golf centre of the Kaya resort development in the Belek region. Its design was prepared by David Jones in association with Golf Med, and the current Kaya factsheet confirms the 18-hole format, par 72 and 2007 opening year. The clubhouse was renovated in 2023, but the course continues to express the original idea of a full championship routing within the pine landscape. Its position near Kadriye places it among the group of established resort courses that made Belek a major golf destination.
Did You Know? The Kaya Palazzo property covers about 650,000 square metres, yet the course still feels defined by the pine forest rather than by open resort development. That scale gives the architects room to separate holes visually, with water and woodland creating distinct chapters across the round. The Taurus Mountains provide a second horizon beyond the trees, so the course has both a sheltered local character and a clear Mediterranean setting.
