Overview: Mission Hills provides the setting for this private Kansas City course, where A. W. Tillinghast used rolling ground and mature vegetation to create strategic angles and carefully placed hazards around the greens.
History: The club was founded on May 1, 1896, and originally occupied land in Kansas City's Loose Park. It moved to the present Mission Hills property in 1926, when Tillinghast's work established the course associated with the club today.
Did You Know? The original Loose Park property was also a Civil War battlefield. The move to Mission Hills therefore links the club's golf history to two very different Kansas City landscapes.
