Overview: Located in Järna, just south of Stockholm, Sweden, Kallfors Golfklubb is a highly scenic 18-hole woodland and parkland course. Winding through dense pine forests and open agricultural meadows, the layout features tight fairways, subtle elevation changes, and small, well-defended putting surfaces. The course demands precise ball placement off the tee and disciplined iron play to navigate the narrow forest corridors and numerous natural streams.
History: Opened in 1999, the course was built to establish a premier competitive venue in Södermanland County. The layout was carefully integrated into the rugged terrain, minimizing earth movement to preserve the historic agricultural landscape. The club operates a highly successful youth training academy.
Did You Know? The course is built around the historic Kallfors Gård, a massive, beautifully restored 18th-century manor house that now serves as the clubhouse and features a highly regarded culinary restaurant focusing on locally sourced ingredients.
