Overview: Juniper Golf Club is an eighteen-hole public course in Redmond, Oregon, set in the high desert among juniper, lava, sage, and Cascade Mountain views. John Harbottle III designed the current course, which stretches to 7,186 yards from the back tees.
History: The present course opened in July 2005 after the municipal golf operation moved from the former Veterans Way site. Juniper has since hosted Oregon Open events and U.S. Amateur qualifying, giving the public course a competitive role in Central Oregon.
Did You Know? The old Veterans Way site had served the community for fifty-four years before the current course opened. Juniper therefore carries forward a municipal golf tradition while playing on a newer high-desert property.
