Overview: Jatinangor National Golf & Resort is the current name of the 18-hole championship course formerly known as Bandung Giri Gahana Golf & Resort. It sits on the Jatinangor plateau near Bandung and plays at about 7,176 yards from the professional tees, with par 72. Older course material credits Michael Coates and the Austro Asian Golf & Association, while the current operator presents a mountain-resort setting of rolling ground, pine trees and views toward Mount Manglayang. The property combines golf with cottages, a clubhouse, pool, restaurants and spa facilities.
History: The course was established in 1986 and became widely known as Bandung Giri Gahana Golf & Resort. The operator's 2024 annual report records a formal name change to Jatinangor National Golf & Resort on 12 March 2023, so the directory's former label is retained only as an alias. The current resort continues to market the same Jatinangor golf course and welcomes both day visitors and overnight guests. Its identity is therefore a rename of an active course, not a new routing.
Did You Know? Jatinangor's greens use bentgrass, an unusual detail for a tropical Indonesian course and one the current operator highlights as part of the playing experience. The highland site also changes the feel of a Bandung golf day: pine, open hills and cooler air replace the dense urban environment, while the course's elevation changes make club selection important. The resort can frame a round as a stay-and-play visit rather than a quick city outing.
