Overview: Jackson Hole Golf & Tennis Club is a resort course near Jackson, Wyoming, with mountain views toward the Tetons and a setting shaped by open western ground and nearby forest. The routing combines the original course site with later work by Robert Trent Jones Jr.
History: Paul McCollister commissioned Bob Baldock to lay out the original golf club in 1963. After Laurance Rockefeller acquired the property in 1967, Robert Trent Jones Jr. developed a major remodeling plan in 1971 and returned for a second redesign; a $15 million renovation followed in 2007.
Did You Know? The course's modern identity is therefore layered: Baldock established the original layout, Jones reshaped it in two major stages, and the 2007 project added new tees, irrigation, and changes to the first and fifteenth holes.
