Islantilla Golf Resort (Amarillo/Verde)

Overview: Situated in the heart of the Huelva coastline, Islantilla Golf Resort is a premier 27-hole championship complex that offers one of the most versatile golfing experiences on the Costa de la Luz. Inaugurated in 1992 and designed by the architectural duo of Enrique Canales and Luis Recasens, the parkland-style layout is masterfully integrated into a landscape of gentle slopes and Mediterranean sea views. The 27 holes are divided into three distinct nine-hole loops—Blue (technical), Green (precise), and Yellow (accessible)—which can be combined to form three world-class 18-hole configurations. Having hosted the European Tour’s Spain Masters in 1995 and ranked among the top 100 courses in Europe by *Golf Digest*, Islantilla remains a permanent benchmark for high-pedigree resort play.

Did You Know? The resort is world-famous for its high-stakes Blue Circuit, which is specifically designed to test the nerves and technical skill of low-handicap players with its strategic water hazards and demanding doglegs. Beyond its competitive rigor, Islantilla serves as a vital ecological sanctuary for the region, where the preservation of the native pine and oak ecosystems is a central pillar of its world-class maintenance standards. The club features a state-of-the-art training center and a traditional Andalusian clubhouse that provides panoramic vistas across the Atlantic and the nearby marshes. This blend of architectural versatility, tournament-level conditioning, and breathtaking coastal scenery ensures that every configuration of Islantilla offers a truly immersive and storied round in the sun-drenched heart of Lepe.
