Irvine (Bogside)

Overview: A historic championship links located in Ayrshire. Although set slightly inland, it retains pure links characteristics, featuring rolling turf, whin, blooming heather, and blind tee shots.

History: Founded in 1887, the course was completely redesigned by the legendary James Braid in 1926. It has served as a frequent Final Open Qualifying venue and is highly respected for its strategic routing.

Did You Know? The course is situated on the historic Bogside racecourse site, and remnants of the old steeplechase race track can still be seen running alongside the fairways.
