Indian Wells Golf Resort (Celebrity Course)

Overview: The Celebrity Course at Indian Wells Golf Resort is a public resort course in Indian Wells, California, designed by Clive Clark. The par-72 layout combines broad fairways, flowing water, split-level lakes, waterfalls, and floral planting against the Santa Rosa Mountains. From the back tees it reaches about 7,038 yards, with visual drama matched by demanding approach decisions.

History: Clark’s Celebrity Course opened in November 2006 as the first of two new courses at the Indian Wells Golf Resort. The project used the existing property and mature trees while creating new holes, fairways, and water features. The companion Players Course opened the following year.

Did You Know? The Celebrity Course was the site of the 2007 and 2008 LG Skins Game. The event history fits the course’s theatrical design, where split-level lakes, waterfalls, and mountain views are part of the playing experience rather than background decoration.
