Overview: Indian Spring West is the original 18-hole routing at the private Indian Spring Country Club in Boynton Beach. Bruce Devlin and Robert von Hagge are credited with the original design, while Kipp Schulties later planned work across the club's two courses. The current West reference is 6,555 yards at par 72, with tree-lined corridors, water and the broad shaping associated with South Florida parkland golf.
History: West opened in 1980 as the first course at Indian Spring. The club later expanded to 36 holes and brought in Kipp Schulties for a 2002 master-plan and redesign program implemented in 2004 and 2005. Current records therefore combine the original Devlin and von Hagge authorship with a substantial later design chapter.
Did You Know? The West course is the older half of Indian Spring's 36-hole identity, while East followed in 2004. Playing both routings reveals how one Boynton Beach property shifted from its original 1980 course to a later companion layout without losing the shared parkland setting.
