Overview: Indian Spring East is the newer 18-hole routing at Boynton Beach's 36-hole Indian Spring Country Club. The course is associated with the original Bruce Devlin and Robert von Hagge design team and a Kipp Schulties redesign plan; Schulties's portfolio gives the current East layout a 7,145-yard, par-72 reference. Broad Florida parkland corridors, water and shaped green complexes define the test.
History: East was developed as part of the club's 36-hole master plan and is listed as opening in 2004. Kipp Schulties was contracted in 2002, with the redevelopment plan implemented during the summers of 2004 and 2005. That timeline explains why current records may describe both the original Devlin and von Hagge concept and the later Schulties work.
Did You Know? Indian Spring's East and West courses represent two different chapters of the same 36-hole property. The East routing carries the later 2004 identity, while the West course dates to 1980, making the pair a compact record of the club's evolution.
