Overview: The current operator gives the route a par-72 scorecard with 6,838 yards from the back tees, while the mountain setting does much of the visual work. The fairways have room to invite an assertive tee shot, but the layout becomes more exacting as the round moves toward the greens, where water, bunkering and changes in direction make the second shot decisive. The course gives a golf trip around Nagoya a very different experience from the flatter clubs closer to the city.
History: The routing opened in 1993 and was designed by Peter Thomson with Shozo Ozasa. It was originally known as Inabu Country Club before later operating under the Inabu OGM name. That distinction matters because the current Accordia page and older course references point to the same 18-hole property in Natsuyakecho, rather than to another course using the Inabu name. The design remains a mountain course in the literal sense, using elevation and the surrounding ranges as part of its identity.
Did You Know? The course sits high enough that its elevation is a defining fact, not just a scenic detail. At about 750 metres, Inabu plays as an upland counterpoint to coastal and urban Aichi golf. The official layout also gives the inward nine more overall distance than the outward nine, so the back half asks for sustained control after the opening holes have established the mountain terrain.
