Overview: Ibis Landing is a public 18-hole course in Lehigh Acres, designed by Gordon G. Lewis III through a landscape of elevation changes, lakes and broad Florida planting. The back tees measure 6,573 yards at par 71, with Bimini turf on the fairways and TifEagle greens. Six tee sets keep the course's length flexible without disguising its championship-scale ambitions.
History: The golf course was created in 2001 as part of the Copperhead community, then the development was restarted and the course reopened as Ibis Landing during the community's later redevelopment. The current club operates with Troon support and retains the Lewis design credit while presenting the course to the wider Lehigh Acres golf market.
Did You Know? Ibis Landing's scorecard is slightly unusual in its balance: the front nine is par 36, but the back nine is par 35, giving the full course a par of 71. The difference comes from the closing nine's combination of par fours, par fives and shorter par threes.
