Hunter's Green Country Club

Overview: Hunter's Green Country Club is a private Tom Fazio-designed championship course in Tampa, laid out through rolling Bermuda fairways, wetlands, bunkers and water hazards. The detailed course record lists 6,979 yards from the longest tees and par 72, while the current club tour shows a wide range of tee positions.

History: Hunter's Green was developed as a major master-planned Florida community in the late 1980s, with the clubhouse opening in 1989 and Fazio's 18-hole course at its center. The club's history emphasizes environmental integrity, and the community became one of Florida's early Florida Quality Development examples.

Did You Know? The finishing hole is a strategic water-side par 4: the lake runs down the entire right, the approach crosses the same water and the green slopes from left to right inside a ring of bunkers and hazards.
