Horseshoe Bay Resort & Conference Center (Summit Rock)

Overview: Summit Rock stretches across 18 holes and carries a par of 72, using live oaks, limestone, rolling Hill Country ground, and Lake LBJ views.

History: The course officially opened in October 2012 as a Jack Nicklaus Signature design. It was created as a members-only course within the Horseshoe Bay resort community, with the routing intended to work with the existing Hill Country landform.

Did You Know? Summit Rock covers about 147 acres and uses the natural Texas setting as part of the strategy. The combination of live oaks, exposed rock, and elevation makes each hole feel tied to the Hill Country rather than to a generic resort template.
