Overview: Widely considered one of the most beautiful and atmospheric courses in the southern Netherlands, Hoenshuis Golf & Country Club is a refined parkland masterpiece set among the rolling hills of South Limburg. Designed by Paul Rolin and later enhanced by Bruno Steensels, the course is built around a magnificent 14th-century square farmhouse that now serves as its iconic clubhouse. Winding through ancient orchards and past high-drama water features, the layout provides a serene and sophisticated par-72 test that captures the romantic, rural essence of the Limburg plateau, offering a sense of history and quiet exclusivity with every hole.
Did You Know? The central farmhouse, known as the "Hoeve Hoenshuis," is a protected national monument and was originally part of a larger fortified manor. Its massive inner courtyard provides perhaps the most grand and historic "19th hole" experience in Dutch golf, where players can enjoy regional delicacies under the same stone arches that have stood for over six hundred years.
