Overview: Located in Farsø, in the northern Jutland region of Denmark, the Old Course at HimmerLand Golf and Country Club is an 18-hole parkland and woodland layout. Winding through dense pine forests and open meadows, the course features wide fairways, subtle elevation changes, and large, subtly contoured greens. The course offers a highly playable experience, requiring players to navigate rolling hills and numerous water hazards.
History: Opened in 1979, the Old Course is the original championship layout at the massive HimmerLand complex. It was built to establish a premier competitive venue in the region. While it is overshadowed by the adjacent New Course (which hosts the European Tour), the Old Course serves as a highly regarded, accessible venue for the local community.
Did You Know? HimmerLand is one of the largest and most comprehensive golf resorts in Northern Europe. The massive, sprawling estate features 36 holes of championship golf, a highly modern training academy, and extensive spa and resort facilities.
