Overview: Hillcrest's championship course in Hollywood is a public-facing semi-private parkland layout measuring 7,076 yards from the championship tees and playing to par 72. Lakes, mounding, TifEagle greens and an island-green finish give the course a more substantial profile than its South Florida setting might suggest.
History: Hillcrest began as a nine-hole executive course in 1965, designed by Bruce Devlin and Robert von Hagge. After a change of ownership, Joe Lee redesigned the championship course in 2000; the 18-hole layout reopened in May 2001 with new lakes, bunkers, tee boxes and green complexes.
Did You Know? The closing hole is Hillcrest's signature visual: the eighteenth finishes on an island green surrounded by a bulkhead, creating a precise target for the final approach rather than a routine run-in to the clubhouse.
