Overview: Highland Springs is a Robert Trent Jones Jr. course in Springfield, Missouri, built across 600 acres of rolling Ozarks terrain. Its 7,115-yard, par-72 routing uses limestone outcroppings, lakes, elevation changes and more than 70 bunkers to shape the challenge. Bentgrass greens and zoysia fairways complete the course’s distinctive regional profile.
History: The golf course debuted in 1989 as the centerpiece of John Q. Hammons’s planned Ozarks community. Robert Trent Jones Jr. designed the layout across roughly 200 acres, using the existing rock and rolling terrain as major design elements. The course has hosted the Price Cutter Charity Championship on the Korn Ferry Tour for more than three decades.
Did You Know? Highland Springs has hosted a Korn Ferry Tour event for more than 30 years. The tournament’s continued presence reflects how the course’s elevation changes, limestone and water create a demanding professional layout.
