Overview: Heron Glen Golf Course is a public Hunterdon County facility in Ringoes, New Jersey, routed across rolling farmland with wetlands, ponds and open fairway corridors. The par-72 layout provides a full back-tee test while retaining the flexible setup expected of a public course.
History: Heron Glen arrived in 2002 as a new-generation public course for Hunterdon County. Dan Schlegel designed the layout, which quickly became one of New Jersey’s better-known public facilities.
Did You Know? Heron Glen’s setting combines open farmland with wetland and pond features, giving the course a more spacious feel than many wooded northern New Jersey layouts.
