Overview: Heron Bay Golf Club was an 18-hole parkland course in Coral Springs, Florida. Historical course records list a par 72 layout measuring 7,268 yards from the back tees and credit Mark McCumber with the design. The course permanently closed in 2019 and should be treated as a historical profile, not a current playing option.
History: Construction of the Heron Bay course began in 1995, and the course opened in 1996 as the golf centerpiece of the surrounding residential development. It later operated as TPC at Heron Bay and hosted The Honda Classic from 1997 through 2002. North Springs Improvement District records document the golf course's closure in 2019.
Did You Know? Heron Bay was built on land that had previously been used for agriculture, with the 1995 construction phase including the creation of the course's lakes and drainage landscape.
