Overview: The Sabot course at Hermitage Country Club is a wooded Virginia layout with broad fairways, water features and a gently varied parkland setting near Richmond. The 18-hole course is credited to Ed Ault and Arthur Hills and reaches 7,048 yards at par 72.
History: Sabot was added in 1989 and incorporated an earlier nine-hole foundation into a fuller championship routing. Arthur Hills’ work gave the course its current identity while retaining the landscape and club history associated with Hermitage.
Did You Know? The Sabot course is one of two distinct golf experiences at Hermitage. Its name refers to the historic Virginia setting and separates it from the club’s Manakin course.
