Overview: Designed by the late, legendary Christy O'Connor Jr. and opened in 2000, the New Course at Headfort Golf Club is a premier championship parkland layout. The course is built on a grand scale, featuring wide fairways, significant water hazards, and massive USGA-standard greens. Characterized by its constant exposure to the Meath breezes and its spectacular resort-style conditioning, Headfort New offers a world-class test of strategic golf across rolling, well-manicured fairways.
Did You Know? The course was significantly refined and extended to 18 holes to provided a "PGA-standard" level difficulty. Its back nine is particularly technical, weaving around several large lakes that serve as both a strategic challenge and a scenic habitat for local wildlife, earners it a reputation as one of the best-conditioned and most visually stunning modern courses in the Leinster region.
