Overview: Como Crossings is the full-length 18-hole course at Hawk's View in Lake Geneva, Wisconsin. Craig Schreiner's design plays to par 72 and 7,074 yards, using rolling ground, sharp elevation changes and broad views over the former ski property. Como Creek appears through the routing, while wetlands, mature trees and granite-edged features give individual holes a distinct setting. The course can be generous from the tee, but its slopes and downhill approaches make distance control important.
History: The property was first used for skiing under the names Holiday Hills and Mount Fuji. Hawk's View opened in 2001 with two 18-hole courses, including Como Crossings and the shorter Barn Hollow layout. Schreiner shaped the long course around the existing ski terrain, retaining the dramatic changes in elevation instead of flattening the site. That history explains why the course often feels like a sequence of hillside rooms rather than a conventional level parkland route.
Did You Know? The 17th hole is the signature visual point of Como Crossings, with a steep descent over the former ski slope and a wide view of the property. The dramatic drop is a reminder that the course's most memorable feature comes directly from the site's earlier use.
