Overview: In southern Mississippi, Hattiesburg Country Club presents an 18-hole parkland course. The current parkland layout combines mature trees, water and gently rolling ground with a traditional club setting.
History: The club was founded in 1919 and rebuilt on its present site in 1959. Max Maxwell and Nathan Crace redesigned the course in 1999, so the modern layout is not solely a Press Maxwell design.
Did You Know? Hattiesburg hosted the PGA Tour's Magnolia Classic from 1968 through 1993, and Payne Stewart recorded his first PGA Tour victory there in 1982.
