Overview: Harbor Links at Sagamore Resort is a public 18-hole P.B. Dye course in Liberty, Indiana, beside Brookville Lake. The par-72 layout measures 7,034 yards in the current directory record and uses the shoreline as a strategic and visual boundary. Four greens sit close to the lake, while rolling ground, elevated putting surfaces and varied approach angles keep the course from playing as a simple waterfront loop. Its setting gives the round a resort character, but the design remains rooted in the movement of the valley and the decisions required around the greens.
History: Harbor Links was designed and constructed by P.B. Dye in 2002 as a lakeside championship resort course open to the public. The official course account describes undulating bentgrass greens, several elevated surfaces and four greens in direct proximity to Brookville Lake. The routing also acknowledges the history of the valley, making the property part of the course story rather than treating the site as an anonymous development parcel.
Did You Know? The course uses reclaimed concrete slabs from State Road 101 to reinforce green complexes and shoreline areas instead of relying on the railroad ties associated with many Dye designs. It is an unusually local material choice for a P.B. Dye course.
