Overview: Hammock Bay Country Club is an 18-hole coastal course in southeast Naples, near Marco Island. The par 72 layout uses live-oak-lined fairways, rolling ground, Gulf breezes, strategic bunkering and contoured greens; published course records list 6,985 yards from the longest tees.
History: Hammock Bay opened in 2003 and was designed by Peter Jacobsen and Jim Hardy. The course later received a major turf replacement and redesign using PlatinumTE paspalum, while its Audubon Gold certification remains part of the property's environmental story.
Did You Know? Hammock Bay is recognized as an Audubon Gold Certified Signature Sanctuary, a designation the current operator describes as one of only a small number of such golf communities worldwide.
