Hainan Shenquan International Golf Club (Mystic)

Overview: The Mystic Course is one of two 18-hole routings at Hainan Shenquan International Golf Club in the Haitang Bay and Nantian hot-spring area. Nelson & Haworth designed the mountain setting to use substantial elevation changes, with the broader course information placing Mystic at 7,175 yards. High viewpoints open toward Haitang Bay and Wuzhizhou Island, while the fairways move through hill country where elevation and approach angles are more important than a flat scorecard yardage.

History: The Shenquan facility was established as a 36-hole destination, and current golf travel sources identify the two championship layouts as Mystic and Springs. The same material places the development in 2011 and credits Nelson & Haworth with the design. The directory row is treated as the specific Mystic 18-hole routing, not as a claim that the whole facility has only 18 holes.

Did You Know? The course's greatest variable is altitude within the site. Some holes play from high ground toward the resort and bay, while others turn through the hills and demand a more conservative line. That gives Mystic a strong sense of movement even before bunkers and water are considered.
