Overview: The Hot Spring Course is one of three 18-hole routings at HNA Kangle Spa and Golf Club in Xinglong. Robert McFarland designed it as a gently undulating, tree-lined parkland course, and the back-tee information lists 7,201 yards and par 72. The fairways move through a resort landscape associated with hot springs and tropical planting, but the course remains readable: the main tests are placement, approach control and avoiding trees that narrow the best lines.
History: Kangle's three-course golf programme dates from the late 1990s and early 2000s. Where2Golf credits McFarland with the Hot Spring and Sun River courses, while identifying C.J. Tan with Oak Forest. The club has long been presented as a stay-and-play venue in Xinglong, and the three named routings remain separate directory identities.
Did You Know? The name is a direct clue to the setting. This is not a generic resort course that happens to have a spa nearby; the Xinglong destination is known for its hot-spring landscape, and the Hot Spring routing is one of the three golf courses built around that resort identity.
