Overview: The Calibogue Course at Haig Point Club on Daufuskie Island, South Carolina, is a private course designed by the legendary Rees Jones. Winding through maritime forests, historic ruins, and tidal marshes, the course features strategic fairways and challenging greens.
History: Opened in 1986, the course was designed to offer a unique coastal playing experience on a car-free island. Rees Jones routed the holes to showcase the natural beauty of the Calibogue Sound. In 2007, a major enhancement program modernized the bunkers and green structures to maintain its high playing standards.
Did You Know? The course features a unique design with two different routings for the seventeenth and eighteenth holes, allowing players to choose between the scenic "Haig" holes or the challenging "Calibogue" finish.
