Overview: Grove Golf Club is an eighteen-hole course at South Cornelly near Porthcawl, set in rolling countryside above the South Wales coast. The published white-tee card gives a par of 70 and 6,128 yards, with a mixture of longer par fours, short holes and reachable par fives.
History: The course opened in 2003 and is credited in current course references to architect Kyle Phillips. It is a modern local course in the Porthcawl area, separate from the older championship links at Royal Porthcawl and Pyle & Kenfig.
Did You Know? The Grove card has a par-70 layout for the standard men’s tees but a par-73 women’s card, reflecting a different par on several holes rather than a different routing.
