Overview: Griffin Gate Golf Club's 18-hole Rees Jones layout occupies the 250-acre Griffin Gate resort property in Lexington, Kentucky. Rolling bluegrass terrain, native trees, bunkers and water features give the layout a distinctly Kentucky parkland setting.
History: Griffin Gate was established in 1981. Rees Jones later led a major bunker renovation in 2015, adjusting fairway lines and strategic options while keeping the original course identity.
Did You Know? Arnold Palmer hit a tee shot at Griffin Gate during the 1983 Citizens Union Senior Golf Classic, one of the PGA Tour Champions events held at the course.
