Overview: The Founders Course at Greystone is a private 18-hole Bob Cupp and Hubert Green design near Birmingham. Creek crossings, changing elevation and tree-lined fairways give the course a foothills setting with room to shape a tee shot before demanding approach lines.
History: Greystone's Founders Course opened in 1991. The Legacy Course followed in 2000 and was designed by Rees Jones, which is why the two layouts should not share the same architect field.
Did You Know? The Founders Course hosts the Regions Tradition, a PGA Tour Champions event, while Greystone's two courses have separate design histories.
