Overview: At Bo Phloi in Kanchanaburi, Grand Prix Golf Club stretches across a large property of lakes, hills and valleys. The 18-hole mountain layout plays to par 72 and reaches 7,111 yards from the professional tees. Shaped elevation changes create different landing angles from hole to hole. Bermuda 419 fairways and Paspalum Novotec greens are documented in the course information, but the stronger impression is visual: the course is built to expose the contours of the land while using water and bunkers to make the approach decisions matter.
History: Grand Prix was developed as the flagship golf course of the Grand Prix Group's Kanchanaburi project. Current course records associate the design with Prayard Chinnaraj and Prachin Eamlumnow, but secondary listings do not agree on whether the present course opened in 2010 or 2013. Rather than force those milestones together, the profile leaves the year blank and retains the supported identity of the current 18-hole routing. The facility continues to operate as a golf destination with resort accommodation and a clubhouse.
Did You Know? The official course description treats the property as a balance of art and engineering, with each hole shaped through a different rise or slide in the land. The 14th is listed as a signature hole in current course records, making it a useful reference point for the layout's emphasis on changing elevation rather than one repetitive flat corridor.
