Overview: Golfclub München Eichenried is a parkland course located northeast of Munich. The layout features flat terrain, water hazards, and large bunkers. The course requires long tee shots and precise iron play to negotiate the water-protected greens.
History: Designed by Kurt Rossknecht and opened in 1989, the championship layout was expanded to 27 holes in 2002. The course has served as the host venue for the BMW International Open on the European Tour for decades.
Did You Know? The 18th hole is a risk-reward par five with a large pond guarding the front of the green. This hole has witnessed several dramatic finishes during the BMW International Open, making it one of the most famous finishing holes in Germany.
