Overview: Golfclub Landgoed Nieuwkerk is a nine-hole parkland course located on the Dutch-Belgian border in Goirle. Designed by Martin Hawtree, it opened in 1995 and operates as an eighteen-hole par-72 layout using multiple teeing grounds. The intimate estate setting features mature trees and requires precise shot placement throughout the round. Visitors can play here under a semi-private access model with specific booking requirements.
History: The course was established in 1995 by architect Martin Hawtree within an existing estate landscape. It recently underwent a major renovation to improve sustainability and weather resistance across the grounds. Following these extensive works, the facility reopened for guests in March 2026 with updated infrastructure. The club continues to maintain its unique nine-hole routing while serving both members and visitors.
Did You Know? This course is physically only nine holes but functions as a full eighteen-hole par-72 experience through strategic teeing ground usage. Martin Hawtree designed the layout to maximize variety within a compact footprint on the estate grounds. The routing allows players to complete two distinct rounds without repeating any hole in the same manner.
