Overview: Golfclub Gut Düneburg was a parkland course located on a historic estate in the Emsland region. The layout featured tree-lined fairways, water hazards, and large bunkers. The course is permanently closed.
History: Designed by David Krause and opened in 1996, the course was built around a manor house dating back to the 18th century. The golf course ceased operations in the 2020s, and the estate is currently undergoing renovation for other uses.
Did You Know? The layout was built on the grounds of a former agricultural estate, incorporating old oak trees that are over two hundred years old. These trees served as strategic hazards on several fairways.
