Overview: The Blau-Gelb routing at Golf Club Föhr combines two of the island facility’s coastal nines, moving between dunes, heath, sand, woodland and the open North Sea landscape. The course asks for a different kind of accuracy from a conventional parkland layout, because wind and firm ground can alter the value of every safe line.
Did You Know? Golf Club Föhr has 27 holes, with the modern expansion led by Christian Althaus and Städler Golf Courses. The club’s history records the 18-hole development in 1990 and the reopening of the fully renewed 27-hole facility in 2015, while later work continued on the final holes.
