Overview: Golf- und Landclub Bad Neuenahr-Ahrweiler is a parkland course located in the Ahr valley. The layout is routed over hilly terrain, featuring tree-lined fairways and views of surrounding vineyards. Precise tee shots are required to secure clean approaches to the subtly undulating greens.
History: Originally founded in 1928, the club established its current 18-hole championship layout in 1982, designed by Karl Grohs. The course has been renovated to improve drainage and modernize play while preserving its integration with the local topography.
Did You Know? The course features a unique water hazard on the 11th hole where players must cross a historic stone bridge over a mountain stream. The surrounding valley provides a microclimate that keeps the turf green throughout the summer.
