Overview: Nestled within the wild, undulating dunes of National Park De Maasduinen, Golfbaan Landgoed Bleijenbeek is an atmospheric masterpiece that blends history with natural brilliance. Designed by Gerard Jol, the championship course is set on a grand 270-hectare estate, winding past the hauntingly beautiful ruins of Huys Bleijenbeek. The layout is defined by significant elevation changes—rare for the Netherlands—high-drama water carries, and sweeping vistas of the Maas river valley, offering a rugged and romantic golfing adventure that feels deeply rooted in the soil of the ancient Limburg hills.
Did You Know? The castle ruins that mark the course were once a formidable fortress that dates back to the 14th century, eventually falling into ruin during the heavy fighting of World War II. Today, the ruins are protected as a national monument, providing a dramatic backdrop for the 18th hole that is perhaps the most unique and historically significant finish in Dutch golf.
