Overview: Rising from the dramatic, hilly terrain of South Limburg, Golf-Resort Brunssummerheide is a massive and high-drama 27-hole facility that prizes technical variety and community energy. Featuring three thematic 9-hole loops that wind through dense pine forests and past vibrant heather fields, the course is defined by its significant elevation changes and sophisticated water hazards that are rare for the region. With its par-72 championship scale and reputation for meticulously maintained green complexes, Brunssummerheide offers a rhythmic and modern brand of golf that rewards accuracy and confident navigation of the "Limburg Alps," providing a serene nature-focused escape in the south.
Did You Know? The resort is located on the thresholds of the Brunssummerheide Nature Reserve and was built on several former sand and clay extraction sites that have been completely re-wilded. During the construction of the "Blue" loop, the club discovered several prehistoric flint-mining sites on the property, and the course routing was adjusted to ensure these archaeological treasures remained untouched, making every round a journey through the region's ancient industrial heritage.
