Overview: Golf Hammock Country Club is an 18-hole Ron Garl design in Sebring, Florida, set among the tree-lined terrain of a residential golf community. The public course uses a par-72 layout with a varied set of tees, modest elevation movement and water shaping several of the playing lines.
History: The club's own course account says Thomas Wohl first imagined a golf course while considering bridle paths on the property, then developed the idea with Ron Garl and course leadership from Tommy and Jimmy Wohl. Public course records disagree on the opening year, so no date is stored here.
Did You Know? The routing is arranged around a circle that encloses the clubhouse, pro shop and restaurant, an unusual piece of site planning that keeps the course connected to its central hub.
