Overview: Liemeer is a clever answer to the question of whether you can build links-style golf in the middle of the Dutch polder. The terrain is flat, of course, but the routing, the shaping and especially the ever-present wind create a round that asks for imagination rather than simple target golf. The main course is compact and exposed, with just enough contour to keep the eye and the mind busy. It is refreshing, modern and quietly distinctive.
History: Golf- & Countryclub Liemeer opened in 2007 and both the 18‑hole Torenbaan and the 9‑hole Bovenlandenbaan were designed by Alan Rijks. The club celebrated its 15th anniversary in 2022 and has since become one of the most recognisable inland‑links courses in the Netherlands. The course is located in Nieuwveen, in the centre of the Groene Hart, easily accessible from the Randstad region.
Did You Know? Liemeer’s Torenbaan is a par‑72, 6,500‑yard inland‑links course. The club is semi‑private and offers a driving range, putting green, chipping area, and trolley and handcart rental. The standard adult green fee for 18 holes is €80.00.
Add this course to your collection, document your round, and earn regional badges.
